Jesus commands us to be people of love: to love our neighbours and our enemies as ourselves.

The rising force of Christian nationalism tries to limit this love, twisting scripture and encouraging Christians to fear and reject ‘the other’.

We are a movement of Christians seeking to resist this misrepresentation of our faith. We need to root ourselves in scripture and tell the true, full, and Better Story of Jesus’ love for the outcast and the oppressed.

However, in our polarised political culture it is tempting to tell this Better Story in a divisive way, responding to hate with hate. We believe Christians must resist this temptation as much as we resist Christian nationalism - we can only tell the story of Jesus’ ministry of compassion through compassionate dialogue with those who disagree.

Come and join the movement.

How do we do this?

Our Values

Love over hate

The global church over the national church

Truth over lies

We believe Christians are called to love - to love God, love our neighbour, and love our enemy

We reject the conflation of Christianity with any singular national identity, believing that the church is a global church where all are welcome

We recognise the damage that misinformation has done to the church and believe in the importance of truth

Reconciliation over division

We believe that the ministry of Jesus is a ministry of reconciliation, both between God and us, and between us and one another

Solidarity with others over protecting ourselves

We welcome the foreigner, standing in solidarity with refugees and immigrants
